Shot in an absolutely stunning bedroom at Home house, Portman square, with which I completely fell in love for its mix of bohemian and old England with a touch of rock and roll. Check out the leopard carpet!

Photos from the past
Pete Doherty & Me - Photoboot
As a teenager i didn't like to look at family photographs. The nostalgia of a lost time was too much an emotion for me to bear.
These photographs reminded me that a moment was gone and the death of all things made me feel uncomfortable. It was a time when my parents had a really hard time at trying to take a picture of me, using all kinds of subterfuge that never seemed to work. Teenagers, eh!
I could only stand photographs that were created not to record a moment in time but as a quest for something that could stand on its own, as a pure form of creativity.
I have since accepted souvenir photographs as a part of the map of my life, but it stills makes me feel weird sometimes to come across a moment from the past through an old photograph.
Pete Doherty - Smoking
Pete Doherty - Jumping with guitar
Out of my friendship with Pete came some of my favorite photographs and a singing collaboration on his song 'Smashing'.
A nice memory from what seems like a past life.

Self Portraiture
Self portrait - Lace
What do you do when you get the urge to experiment with an idea and you have no model at your disposal: a Self Portrait!
Being the model and the person who takes the photograph at the same time is the most bizarre form of expression, but this is as intimate and care free as it gets, as no-one is judging you during the process. So you can act how you please, in the knowledge that you will erase what is not right in the end.
I suppose that is a photographer's dream to have such a close relationship with the person you are photographing that they give themselves fully and you, as a photographer can experiment without fear.
I think it is especially true with portraiture where you must project something from the person
The best portraits for me are the ones where you sense the subject has let their guard down and given a bit of their essence
